Worldwide Gambling Privatization Information Center (PIC) Launched

(PRWEB) September 22, 2006 -- After the introduction of MECN's study "Privatization of state-controlled gambling operators" in September, 2005, there were so many positive reactions and requests upon this publication, that co-authors, Martin Oelbermann (MECN) and Rob van der Gaast (Independent Gambling Analyst) decided to create a special, free online site offering extensive information on the gambling privatization possibilities.

In the meantime the study "Privatization of state-controlled gambling operators: Only hype or a reality in the near future?" has been recognized by the international gambling industry as the leading report on gambling privatizations.

After being contacted for services by, a.o. the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp, Pagcor and an American state lottery organization, the PIC has been established. The PIC employs a group of specialized consultants with in-depth experience in all the various aspects of the gambling privatizations. A tailor-made team is put together for each project, including consultants with a background in the WLA, as well as specialists with experience in the 'free market'.

The new PIC service products are:
- Quick Privatization Scan;
- Advising and Guiding Bidder(s);
- Executing a Complete and Full Gambling Privatization Process.

Rob van der Gaast a well-known independent gambling research analyst and publicist, coordinates the services of the PIC.

There exists no other full-service gambling privatization expertise center in the world, so in that respect the PIC is a unique and valuable partner for all disciplines and people involved in gambling privatization projects worldwide.

A Quick Privatization Scan can be conducted within 10 days. After that the PIC will be able to advise which type of privatization will suit the relevant authorities and other parties best, as well as a thorough calculated privatization valuation.

"There are so many privatization options and possibilities," tells PIC's coordinator Rob van der Gaast, "and each privatization is an unique case with its own particular development process, knowing only winners. For example in principle nearly all the former East-European lottery organizations should be privatized as soon as possible. If you see what is going on in countries as Poland and Romania, then a privatization is immediately needed, bringing a.o. transparency, efficiency, competition, creativity, new consumer trust, and last but not least deriving substantial more capital incomes for the national Treasuries."

More information on the professional expertise of the PIC may be found on gambling-privatization.com.
