Playing poker at a regular poker table is evidentially becoming old hat. In Jean, Nevada, some poker players got together for a little extreme poker. Patrick Neary, Prince Edward Island, Jaimie Glasser, Fraser Linkleter, Nick “Stoxtrader” Grudzien, and pro Phil “the
Unabomber” Laak all piled into a plane and flew up to 15,000 feet for a little poker. If all they were doing was playing poker on a plane, this would be a boring story.
The rules were simple. Win and stay on the plane. Losers had to grab a parachute and jump. It certainly puts a new twist on game play. When it was all said and done, Grudzien was the winner. The event was part of Inter Poker’s Extreme Poker series.
