revenue was almost back to where it was before last year's ban on internet gambling in the US.
The firm said revenue for the six months ended 30 June jumped to £44m from £24.5m, only £2.2m away from the £46.2m reported a year ago that included US revenue.
Casino (Paris: FR0000125585 - news) revenue was up 53% to $32.6m, while poker revenue leapt to $10.5m from $2.8m this time last year, boosted by the migration of the Tribeca licensees onto Playtech's platform.
"Playtech has a very healthy pipeline of new business for the second half of the year and we look forward to making continuing strong progress," said chief executive Mor Weizer.
The group also announced that finance director Shuki Barak has asked to leave the board for personal reasons.
